Key Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and proofread high-quality content for a variety of platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and educational materials.
- Collaborate with our creative and editorial teams to produce content that aligns with the organization's goals and target audiences.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the content produced.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to increase visibility and drive engagement.
- Tailor writing style for different audiences, including students, educators, and the general public.
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all written materials.
- Work with deadlines and deliver projects on time without compromising quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of professional writing experience (internships and freelance work are acceptable).
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent research abilities and the ability to write on a variety of topics.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices to create content that performs well online.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team when necessary.
- Creativity and a flair for generating innovative and engaging ideas.
- Fluency in English is required (Amharic language skills are an asset).
