We are seeking a qualified and experienced Human Resource Officer to manage and enhance our HR functions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our staff and fostering a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the recruitment and selection process by posting job openings, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding for new employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed efficiently.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in alignment with institutional goals and Ethiopian labor laws.
  • Maintain comprehensive employee records, including attendance, performance evaluations, and personal details.
  • Address employee relations issues, grievances, and conflicts with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Administer employee benefits, compensation, and leave management effectively.
  • Support performance appraisal processes and assist with career development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and provide training as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between staff and management, promoting a collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resource Officer role or similar capacity.
  • Strong understanding of Ethiopian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in HR software and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
