Position Summary
The Telesales Officer will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth through telephone-based customer engagement. This individual will proactively contact customers, address their inquiries, promote our products, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular calls and follow-ups.
- Identify customer needs and promote relevant products to meet sales targets.
- Accurately process customer orders, ensuring timely communication with the delivery team.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or issues professionally and promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of calls, sales, and customer feedback for analysis and improvement.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to achieve company objectives.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- BA Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2 years and above experience in telesales, customer service, or a related role, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Fluency in Amharic and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and professional with excellent interpersonal skills.
