Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and diagnostics on heavy trucks and trailers, focusing on engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems.
- Identify issues accurately, perform necessary repairs, and ensure vehicles are ready for operation.
- Keep detailed records of all repairs, parts used, and hours worked.
- Collaborate with the operations team to reduce vehicle downtime.
- Offer guidance and support to junior mechanics on technical issues.
- Ensure all repairs comply with safety and company standards.
Job Requirements
- Education: Diploma in Auto Mechanics or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years in heavy truck mechanics, with demonstrated senior-level responsibilities.
- Skills: In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficient with diagnostic tools and problem-solving.
