Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and catalog library resources, ensuring efficient access and retrieval systems are in place
- Support users in locating information and utilizing library services effectively
- Collaborate with departments to acquire relevant resources and manage inventory
- Maintain accurate records of library materials, track usage statistics, and prepare regular reports
- Develop and implement library policies and procedures to enhance service delivery
- Provide guidance to junior staff and ensure efficient workflow within the library
Job Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Library and Information Science, Library Science and Information Work, Library and Information Service, Management, or Library Science and Information Technology
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience for candidates with a degree, or 6 years for those with a diploma in the same field
- Proficiency in library cataloging systems and database management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with digital library tools and resources
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
