Job Overview
The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. The primary responsibility is to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and contractual obligations. The Project Manager will be the main point of contact between the client and the project team, ensuring effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and manage the execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, safety standards, and client requirements.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Manage resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Resolve technical and operational challenges promptly to avoid project delays.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
Qualification and Experience
- Educational Qualification: BSc Degree or above in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related fields.
- General Experience: 8 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
- Similar Experience: 4 years of specific experience in project management roles, preferably in construction.
